Is it legal to hire a Dominatrix in MA?

In Massachusetts, hiring a dominatrix and paying her a tribute is legal as long as sexual conduct is not involved.

“The term “sexual conduct” includes sexual intercourse, anal intercourse, fellatio, or oral sex involving contact between the mouth of one person and the penis of another person, cunnilingus, or oral sex involving contact between the mouth of one person and the female sex organs — the vagina, vulva or labia — of another person, masturbation of another person or any other intrusion of a part of one person’s body or some other object into the genital or anal opening of another person’s body”.

(General Law - Part IV, Title I, Chapter 272, Section 53A) - the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, last updated 2017-08-27

BDSM practices themselves are not illegal in MA, even though many people think they are.

Yet the law in MA is extra protective towards subs. If I cause injuries to you during a BDSM session, I’ll be liable for your injuries, even though you have consented to these practices.

This is why I ask people to fill out a checklist and list their major health problems, like heart disease, diabetes, or back injuries, and generally, I’m very strict about CCCC BDSM safety protocol - caring, communication, consent, and caution.

Stay healthy and enjoy life.
